Innovative Space Carrier Inc.(Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEOKojiro Hatada), a startup company that aims to realize a transportation system that makes space reusablepossible, has raised 300 million yen in a third-party allocation of new shares to Incubate Fund Inc.
Future Space Transportation Systems, Inc. was established as a start-up company based on a study by the Space Passenger Transport Promotion Council (SLA), a general incorporated association, with the vision of “creating an era when everyone has access to space” and aiming to realize a transportation system that will enable space travel.
With this financing, we will identify technical issues necessary to realize a single stage, fully reusable spacecraft reusable(SSTO; Single Stage To Orbit), and after studying drastic cost reduction and humanspace transportation technology, we will accelerate the study of business plans including the provision of future space transportation services such as Point to Point (P2P) and space travel. After graduating from Kyoto University Graduate School of Energy Sciences (Master’s Program) in 2004, he joined the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. After working on energy and industrial policies, he was seconded to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2012 to work at the Japanese Delegation to the European Union and the Embassy of Japan in Belgium. 2015 he was seconded to the Secretariat for the Strategic Promotion of Space Activities, Cabinet Office, where he was involved in the establishment of the Space Activities Act, the formulation of the Space Industry Vision 2030, the space business idea contest S -In 2017, he returned to the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) and established J-Startup, a new startup support program. He was engaged in launching programs, etc., and founded Digital Hearts Plus Inc. in 2019. founded Innovative Space Carrier Inc.in May 2022 and assumed the position of CEO.
