As a participant in the Fukushima Innovation Coast Initiative (Innove Initiative), we will be presenting our initiatives under the title of “Toward ‘Space without Disposal’: The Challenge of Supporting Rocket Development from Hamadori”.

Fukushima Prefecture is working on the Fukushima Innovation Coast Initiative (INNOVE), a national project aimed at building a new industrial base to restore industry in the Hamadori region and other areas, and is holding a seminar to promote the participation of local companies.
This year’s seminar welcomes companies in the aerospace field, which has a broad base and is required to establish a supply chain with local companies for parts manufacturing and technology provision, to share examples of their participation in the INNOVE Initiative. In addition, Fukushima International Research and Education Institute (F-REI) will introduce its research and development of robots that can function in the harsh environments encountered during decommissioning and natural disasters.
