Innovative Space Carrier Inc.(Chuo-ku, Tokyo; CEO; Kojiro Hatada) announces that it has signed a partnership agreement with Minamisoma City (Mayor Kazuo Monma) in Fukushima Prefecture on March 28 (Thursday). This is the first time for Minebea to conclude a partnership agreement with a local government.

Minamisoma City in Fukushima Prefecture has been focusing on supporting businesses that take on the challenges of new industries by supporting demonstration experiments and collaboration with businesses in the region to create and foster new industries, including those related to the aerospace sector.
Through this collaboration agreement, we will promote human resource education in space-related technologies in cooperation with manufacturing and venture companies in Minamisoma and with educational institutions in the city. At the same time, we will aim to develop a reusable space transportation system with an eye on the future humanspace transportation business.
Fukushima branch office opened
Upon the signing of the collaboration agreement, we opened a branch office in Fukushima to accelerate our efforts in Minamisoma.

Specific Cooperation Matters
Matters related to securing various test sites and development bases for reusable rockets
Minamisoma City will cooperate in providing information on candidate sites for various test sites and development bases, etc., for development to be conducted by MHI in the city.
2. Matters concerning cooperation with businesses in Minamisoma in the development of reusable rockets
Through the provision of information and support from Minamisoma City, MHI will aim to cooperate with businesses in Minamisoma.
In addition, with a view to the future commercialization of our space-related services, we aim to establish a cooperative framework with businesses in Minamisoma for the manufacture of reusable launch vehicles.
3. Matters related to human resource education in space-related technologies in cooperation with educational institutions in Minamisoma
We will create opportunities for students in Minamisoma to learn about space-related technologies through visiting classes at educational institutions in Minamisoma, and cooperate in the development of human resources who will lead the next generation.
