Wakayama Prefecture is working on "Space Town Development" to create a new industry and revitalize the region under the theme of space.

The word "space" conjures up images of "rockets" in many people's minds.
In reality, however, space is a "broad industrial area" involving a wide variety of industries, technologies, and local resources, including satellites, data utilization, precision processing, materials, telecommunications, education, and tourism.

THIS EVENT WILL EXPLORE THE POSSIBILITIES OF THE SPACE BUSINESS THROUGH "TALK SESSIONS" FEATURING ADVANCED INITIATIVES AND EXAMPLES OF SMALL AND MEDIUM-SIZED COMPANIES FROM ACROSS JAPAN PARTICIPATING IN THE SPACE BUSINESS, AND A "SPECIAL EXHIBITION" OF THE KIBO AUTOMATED EXPERIMENT SYSTEM (GEMPAK) BEING DEVELOPED BY JAXA AND A SMALL SATELLITE FROM ARKEDGE SPACE.
